Elections and Social Media: Engaging Online during COVID-19

The United Steelworkers is one of the strongest voices in Washington for working people. If we want to continue to have the power to demand that legislative decisions benefit us and all working families we need to vote for the people who will have our backs.

That means we need to have conversations with others about what our union is fighting for, why we’re doing it and encouraging them to vote.

Social media is a great way to connect with people to get them engaged in the election while our ability to have face-to-face conversations are limited due to COVID-19.

You can use the information below when you share on social media or when you’re messaging with fellow Steelworkers.

For detailed instructions on getting started with social media, visit usw.org/socialmedia.
